Deleting your data
You can delete anything you have put into PODease, up to and including your whole account. Here is exactly how, what happens, and how long it takes.
Delete one thing
Sign in and remove it where it lives. Designs and their uploaded artwork can be deleted from the Design Library. Collection recipes and print size groups can be deleted from their own screens. A connected service such as Printify can be disconnected from the Connections screen, which deletes the stored token immediately. These take effect right away and need no request.
Delete your entire account
Email shane@deckerinnovative.com from the email address on the account, with Delete my account as the subject. You do not need to give a reason.
We confirm the request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your login and account record, including your email address and display name.
- Your workspace and everything in it: designs, uploaded artwork files, collection recipes, print size libraries, product configurations, batches, and publish job records.
- Every service token you saved, such as a Printify or voice provider key.
- Your activity log.
- Your address on the launch updates list, if it is there.
What we cannot delete for you, and why
- Products already created in your own accounts. Anything PODease created in your Printify account or your storefront now belongs to those accounts. Delete those from Printify or your store directly.
- Files stored in your own browser. The social content library keeps rendered videos and images in your browser's storage on your device. We never receive them and cannot reach them. Clearing your browser data for podease.app removes them.
- Billing records. Stripe payment records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. Card details were never held by PODease in the first place.
If you connected a social account
Disconnecting a social account inside PODease deletes the stored access token immediately. You can also revoke PODease's access from the platform itself at any time, which works even if you never sign in to PODease again:
- Instagram and Facebook: Settings, then Apps and Websites, then remove PODease.
- LinkedIn: Settings and Privacy, then Data Privacy, then Permitted Services, then remove PODease.
Posts that were already published stay on your social account, because they are yours. Delete those from the platform.
