Privacy Policy
This policy describes what PODease collects, why it exists, who it is shared with, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider, never in readable form), and the display name you choose.
The work you put in. Artwork you upload, design names and metadata, collection recipes, print size libraries, product configurations, batches, and the records of publishing jobs you run. This is your content. We do not sell it, license it, use it to train models, or show it to anyone outside your workspace.
Service connections. If you connect Printify, we store the API token you provide so PODease can create and publish products on your behalf. If you connect a voice provider such as ElevenLabs, we store that key the same way. These keys are held server side, are never sent to your browser after you save them, and are used only to carry out actions you ask for in the app.
Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach PODease servers. We store your plan, your subscription status, and the customer identifier Stripe gives us.
Activity records. A log of actions taken in your workspace: files rendered, products created, publishes attempted, and errors encountered. This exists so support requests can be answered and so failures can be found and fixed.
If you asked for launch updates. The email address you submitted on our marketing site, used for product announcements and nothing else.
What stays on your device. The social content library keeps rendered videos and images in your own browser's storage. Those files are not uploaded to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we cannot restore them.
What we do not collect
- We do not use advertising trackers or third party analytics pixels.
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not use your artwork or designs to train machine learning models.
Who processes data on our behalf
PODease runs on services that necessarily handle data to do their jobs. Each is used for the stated purpose only:
- Supabase for database hosting, file storage, and authentication.
- Vercel for website and application hosting.
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Printify to create and publish the products you configure, and through Printify, the sales channel you have connected such as Shopify or Etsy.
- ElevenLabs, only if you connect it, to generate voiceover you request.
Social accounts you connect
PODease can help you publish to social platforms. Two things are worth being precise about.
Today, publishing is assisted: PODease prepares the file and the caption, and you post it yourself on the platform. In that mode no social account is connected and we hold no social platform data at all.
If and when you connect a social account through an official platform login, we would store only the access token that authorizes posting and the account identifier and name needed to show you which account is connected. We would use that access strictly to publish the content you scheduled. We would not read your messages, your follower lists, or your private data, and we would not post anything you did not schedule. Disconnecting the account in PODease deletes the stored token immediately, and you can also revoke access from within the platform's own settings at any time.
How long we keep things
Your content and account data are kept while your account is open, so the tool still works when you come back to it. When you delete your account, the data is removed as described below. Billing records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. Activity logs are kept up to 24 months.
Deleting your data
You can have everything deleted, and you do not have to explain why.
- Delete individual work at any time inside the app: designs, uploaded artwork, recipes, and connections can each be removed from where they appear.
- Delete your whole account by emailing shane@deckerinnovative.com from the address on the account, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We confirm within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Deletion removes your workspace, your uploaded artwork, your designs and configurations, your stored service tokens, and your activity records. Products already created in your Printify account or your storefront belong to those accounts and are not ours to delete, so remove those there. Full instructions live at podease.app/data-deletion.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Every database table is protected by row level security so one workspace cannot read another's rows. Service tokens are held server side and are never returned to the browser. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise; if a breach affects your data we will tell you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email us at the address below and we will honor it. We will not charge you for it or make you jump through hoops.
Children
PODease is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
